Description
A dream that refuses to fade away lingers on beyond wakefulness. In it, one can speak honestly, without fear of appearing alien among one's own kind. Here, one flees not from police sirens, but from one's own shadows, which hide deeper than any alleyway.
The music echoes, as if the words cannot bring themselves to be direct and are masked in drawn-out ‘uhs,’ like a cry that has frozen halfway to the throat. But behind this lies a simple and stubborn desire: to find that very person and finally stop running away.
And in this insistent mantra - ‘better to die tomorrow than live a thousand years without you’ - there is no pathos, no drama. It sounds like an everyday truth: like ‘we're out of salt’ or ‘the door slammed shut.’ Only salt can always be bought, and doors can always be opened. But without that ‘you’ - there really is nowhere to go.

Original
Quiero congelar el sueño en el que pudimos hablar
Sin miedo a sentirme un desconocido
Huyo más de mí que de las luces de la policía
Y siento que por dentro estoy vacío
Y quiero salir a buscarte
Al final, nunca es tarde
Para huir de todo esto que hay aquí (¡uh, uh, uh, uh, uh!)
Y quiero salir a buscarte
Al final, nunca es tarde
Para huir de todo esto que hay aquí (uh, ¡uh!)
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh
Nos enseñaron a lucharlo
A pelear por nuestro fajo
Pero no aprendimos a querer
Y yo pensaba que me había tocado Dios
Pensaba que era inmortal
Hasta el día en que te conocí
Quiero salir a buscarte
Al final, nunca es tarde
Para huir de todo esto que hay aquí (¡uh, uh, uh, uh, uh!)
Quiero salir a buscarte
Al final, nunca es tarde
Para huir de todo esto que hay aquí (uh, ¡uh!)
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh
Dicen que todo es casualidad
Pero es que es imposible
Que vengan y me lo expliquen (uh-uh-uh)
Me piensas, luego existo
Ahora estás, ahora te has ido
Y yo prefiero morir mañana a vivir mil años sin conocerte
Prefiero perder los ojos a vivir mil años sin poder verte
Prefiero morir mañana a vivir mil años sin conocerte
Prefiero romper mis manos a vivir mil años y no tocarte
Prefiero morir mañana a vivir mil años sin conocerte
Prefiero morir mañana a vivir mil años sin conocerte
Uh-uh-uh
English translation
I want to freeze the dream in which we could talk
Without fear of feeling like a stranger
I run away from myself more than from the police lights
And I feel like inside I'm empty
And I want to go out and look for you
In the end, it's never too late
To escape from all this here (uh, uh, uh, uh, uh!)
And I want to go out and look for you
In the end, it's never too late
To escape from all this here (uh, uh!)
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh
They taught us to fight it
To fight for our wad
But we didn't learn to love
And I thought that God had touched me
I thought I was immortal
Until the day I met you
I want to go out and look for you
In the end, it's never too late
To escape from all this here (uh, uh, uh, uh, uh!)
I want to go out and look for you
In the end, it's never too late
To escape from all this here (uh, uh!)
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh
They say everything is coincidence
But it is impossible
Let them come and explain it to me (uh-uh-uh)
You think of me, therefore I exist
Now you are, now you're gone
And I prefer to die tomorrow than live a thousand years without knowing you
I'd rather lose my eyes than live a thousand years without being able to see you.
I'd rather die tomorrow than live a thousand years without knowing you
I'd rather break my hands than live a thousand years and not touch you
I'd rather die tomorrow than live a thousand years without knowing you
I'd rather die tomorrow than live a thousand years without knowing you
Uh-uh-uh
