Night falls gently, but with character: the air is cold, and the voice draws closer - like the first cigarette in the morning and the last beer at night at the same time. Everything here seems to come in pairs: warm and sharp, homely and dangerous - the fruity fire in the stove, the hand reaching for the hob and the motor. The words fall into simple metaphors, which seem to pour tea with a handful of petrol into a cup - surprisingly warm and slightly ticklish.

The essence is not in loud confessions, but in the little things that the heart clings to: the first ‘tshik’ of the day, the filter on a cigarette, a warm nipple in a frosty courtyard. The request to stay doesn't sound like a plea, but like a habit you don't want to break: keeping close what warms and ignites you at the same time. A little cheeky, a little homely - and that's the beauty of it: you want to smile and snuggle up to the noise that promises not to let you go.
