Description
The sweetness of candy and the smell of a cheap gun - a strange cocktail in which teenage anger becomes a religion. Here, the messiah is chosen not by candles, but by cries of ‘run, piggy,’ and it all looks more like a daring street carnival of revenge than a sermon. Promises of pain sound almost playful, like a child's game of tag, but with much sharper edges. Each verse is a mixture of threat and irony, making it impossible to know whether to laugh or hide under the bed.
