Goodbye

A farewell in repeat mode: the words sound like a note on the kitchen table - short, cold and slightly theatrical. Accusations, repentance and promises are packed into the routine choreography of parting: falling to your knees, falling on your sword, leaving a note - everything according to the script. Where there should have been an explanation, only an echo remains: ‘goodbye’ again and again, and the pain suddenly seems like familiar furniture. The impression is not a finale with fireworks, but a quiet train with a distant station: people leave, someone blesses them, someone waves goodbye, and the light in the window slowly fades.
