Description
An urban landscape where flashes from gunshots replace streetlights, and conversations are more likely to be heard in court records than on a bench outside a house. Here, even silence has a price, and every movement is read more carefully than words. Between funerals and trials, a strange philosophy emerges: live fast, don't look back, and don't trust the sympathy of others. Inside, there is emptiness; outside, there is armour made of bravado and noise. And yet, through the cold lines, a familiar weariness breaks through: there were once dreams, but the street shouted them down too loudly.
