Magnet

A soundtrack that clearly originated from a dream of being in Batman, but turned out to be something more entertaining and human. It begins with conversations in the kitchen about the ‘right file’ and an acquaintance from a film company, then suddenly there is a solemn presentation and applause, as if the audience approves of the idea itself.

And then there's just rhythm and the insistent ‘heat up here,’ repeated like a mantra for urban superheroes in tight costumes. Parks flash by, night-time car rides and a light darkness that is more cosy than scary. The result is like a fan letter to Hollywood - noisy, ridiculous, but sincerely passionate.
