Epiphany

Luxury here smells not of perfume, but of petrol and counted banknotes. A symphony of the gangway, where the squeak of strings is replaced by the screech of tyres, and instead of tender confessions - cynical bonuses of a ‘rich life with privileges’. Everything is loud, bold and accompanied by such smug laughter, as if someone on the balcony of a villa dropped a glass of champagne - and who cares, because a new box is already waiting below. The music sounds as if success is not destiny, but a sports car with a deflected number plate that cannot be caught up with anyway.
