The Great Caucasian God

It sounds like a sermon with a nuclear flavour - where faith is intertwined with weapons, and prayer sounds louder than an alarm siren. There are biblical images, man-made nightmares, and a strange confidence that ‘our people’ will always be saved. Sarcasm seeps through the lines, as if someone had turned on a televangelist against a backdrop of disaster news. And instead of comfort, all that remains is a cold thought: sometimes scarier than the end itself is the conviction that it will come ‘according to plan.’
