Somewhere Over Laredo

✈️When reality is a plastic cup with ice, a cramped seat at the porthole and twenty minutes before boarding, your head stubbornly lives somewhere not at all here. Where the desert glows, where the river whispers under the moon, where the silver buckle on jeans shines in the dark a little brighter than the stars.

Well, yes, it didn’t work out. Well, yes, there was no need to start at all. But who will stop all this, if even at an altitude of thirty thousand feet the heart still lies on the shore of Rio, next to the one who knew how to hug as if there was no promise of tomorrow.

So we fly - to the west, into the sky, away from ourselves, but a little closer to those memories that smell of dust, leather and one big mistake, which we still feel a little sorry for.
